Brief Biography

Native of Manitoba, Canada. Interested in science, genetics, and farming. Aim to study soybean and soybean breeding/genetics as their growth region spreads north into Canada. Interests also lie in remote sensing and high-throughput phenotyping using ground-truth and UAV technologies. As well, understanding yield predictions using computer-generated crop models incorporating genotypic, phenotypic, and environmental data. Hobbies include: kiteboarding; snowboarding; playing hockey, golf and ultimate frisbee. Sports Teams: Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Blue Jays.
