Our group goal: To improve agricultural production and to positively impact farmers and the agriculture industry through the development of new products (cultivars and germplasm), gene discovery, and research insights on pertinent topics.

Our group mentoring philosophy: We promote a ‘Team based learning’ approach. We strive to tackle challenging research problems and provide an engaging and collegial learning environment, so that our students and fellows can become successful plant breeders and researchers.
